Get Spooked in Blissfield Friday and Saturday night.

Chase Byers and his family and friends are hosting The Haunt once again at 120 S. Main St., in Blissfield. This year, he’s being joined by 25 actors and a director from The Crosswell.

Visitors are asked to donate canned goods as an admission fee. The goods will donated to a local food bank.  Cash donations will be used to help reimburse the creators for the costs associated with the annual Halloween event.

Check out the video for a quick tour of The Haunt. Below is a video from last year's Blissfield Halloween activities, including the Trick-or-Treat parade and the Halloween Bonfire by Blissfield Rotary.

Plow Day just keeps getting bigger and better. The fifth installment of the annual event, organized by Sammy and Ron Thompson, was held Saturday and Sunday on Ridgeville Road in Riga Township.

This year’s event featured more music, more food, and more horses, antique tractors, plows and farm equipment than ever before.

“It couldn’t have been better. Everyone I talked to said they had a great time. The weather was nice. We had more things to do than ever and we had our best turn out,” said Sammy Thompson.
