The water level of the River Raisin in Blissfield has dropped from than a foot since a crest of 685.62, the second-highest level since records have been kept, to 684.18 at the 10 a.m. reporting on the U.S. government website today.
Also, April Wolfe, who works at Blissfield Insurance Agency, Inc., next to the flooded river, reports traffic began moving at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, the first movement on the bridge since it was closed late Wednesday afternoon as the floodwaters were rising.
