Kyndall Isham and Joel Crozier were crowned Miss and Mr. Whiteford at the halftime of the Whiteford boys’ varsity basketball game evening. The Bobcats were victorious over the Blissfield Royals defeating them 66-46

Bobcats celebrate homecoming with a win

Kyndall Isham and Joel Crozier were crowned Miss and Mr. Whiteford at the halftime of the boys varsity basketball game evening.

Whiteford student a National Merit Semifinalist

OTTAWA LAKE — Joel Crozier, a senior at Whiteford Agricultural Schools, has been named a National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalist.  

OTTAWA LAKE — Joel Crozier, a senior at Whiteford Agricultural Schools, has been named a National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalist.  More than 1,500,000 United States students who took the PSAT/NMSQT in October 2010 and met other program participation requirements entered the 2012 competition for the National Merit Program recognition and scholarships.

Title Game Suspended at Blissfield Invitational

The winner of the Blissfield Invitational baseball tournament won’t be decided until after the regular season.

Blissfield and Whiteford both went 2-0 in a tournament that started late because of field conditions caused by a heavy morning rainfall. Blissfield edged Grandhaven 3-0 in its first game, before beating up Dearborn in a 13-1 game shortened to five innings because of the mercy rule.

Whiteford won its first game, 14-13 over Dearborn. The Bobcats then came from behind to defeat Grandhaven 6-5 in a 10-inning thriller.
