Ribbon-cutting reopens business damaged by fire

Last week saw the rebirth of a Blissfield mainstay. Royal Expressions, a business that was displaced last year due to a fire, is now back at its original location at 131 S. Lane Street. 

Last week saw the rebirth of a Blissfield mainstay. Royal Expressions, a business that was displaced last year due to a fire, is now back at its original location at 131 S. Lane Street. A ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the reopening of the store, sponsored by the Blissfield Main Street Program, was hosted on Friday, afternoon. Between 30-40 people turned out for the event and to show their support to owner Debbie Royal.

Debbie Royal and Royal Expressions are in their new temporary location at U.S. 223 and Pearl Street. Her business on S. Lane St. was badly damaged in a February fire. She hopes to be back in her regular location in four to six months.
