May meals provided by churches

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Blissfield Presbyterian Church will again provide meals at no cost to those who participate on Tuesday, May 22. It will be a chicken breast, rice pilaf, broccoli casserole and baked apples carry-out meal.  Meals can be picked up at Catering by Liz between 5-6 p.m. on that day or delivery is available. To request meals please call 486-4738 any time prior to noon May 22. Leave a message if necessary. Those who know of shut-ins who might enjoy a meal, please notify them of this service as the churches will see that they get a meal if they request one.

Art at Your Feet May 19

Art at Your Feet, a Blissfield DDA/Main Street Program will host the annual event that begins at 9 a.m., with artist check-in at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, May 19. It is presented by Green Plains Renewable Energy.  

Get out the chalk because it’s almost time for the fourth annual Art At Your Feet in downtown Blissfield.

Two churches host community meal

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Blissfield Presbyterian will again provide a community meal at no cost to participants on Tuesday, April 24. It will be a carry-out meal of hamburger gravy, mashed potatoes, corn and applesauce.

Meals can be picked up at Catering by Liz between 5 and 6 p.m. that day and delivery  is available.
To request meals, call 486-4738 any time prior to Tuesday, and no later than noon on meal day. Leave a message if necessary.
Those who know of shut-ins who might enjoy a meal should notify them of this service. The churches will provide a meal to those who request them.

The event, hosted by the Blissfield Downtown Development Authority/Main Street Program, celebrates Blissfield’s past and present connection with trains.
