K of C Swiss Steak Supper

The Knights of Columbus are serving  a Swiss Steak Dinner

Saturday, Jan.  28 at Light of Christ St. Peter’s Hall beginning at 5 p.m.  with serving times extended until all are served or until  “sold out.”

Adults:  $8 Children 5-12 - $5  Take–outs  OK.

The event will support 2012 Food and Activities. Help is needed serving and/or for clean up.

Knights of Columbus bring Christmas to many

On Sunday afternoon the Blissfield Knights of Columbus delivered about a week’s worth of groceries to 106 families, as well as toys for 132 children.

The Knights of Columbus Council # 7832 serving Blissfield and Deerfield are having a Swiss Steak Dinner, Sat., Jan. 22, beginning at 5 p.m. in St. Peter's Hall - Light of Christ Parish. Adults $8, under 5-12 $5. Takeout available. The event supports the 2011 Activities Fund.

Vernon DeVantier

Vernon DeVantier, 78, of Blissfield went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at his home. Vernon was born on March 2, 1932 to Edward and Thekla DeVantier in Bergholtz, New York.  On July 2, 1955 in Lewiston, New York, he married Harriet Landres.
