Blissfield rebounded from its first LCAA loss of the season in convincing fashion Wednesday night. Playing a game that was rescheduled after last week’s power failure, the Royals hosted Erie Mason one night after getting swept at Onsted.
The Lady Royals (12-5-3, 3-1 LCAA) took it out on the Screaming Eagles, sweeping their LCAA rivals 25-21, 25-15 and 25-19.
DEERFIELD – The Lady Patriots missed a golden opportunity to win their first Tri-County Conference match of the season, falling 25-17, 22-25, 17-25 and 23-25 to Summerfield.
The Blissfield varsity volleyball team was impressive in their LCAA-opening win over Dundee at home Thursday night. The Royals were dominant at times in a 25-15, 25-16, 25-21 victory.
“This was much better,” said coach Sandi Porter, who thought her team lacked energy and consistency in previous outings. “I really liked the way we hit the ball today.”
