It was an intense third-match up as Madison and Sand Creek women’s teams battled for a win in the first round of the district tournament Monday night. In the end, the Trojans defeated their Tri-County Conference rival 43-34.
The Trojans will play the Clinton Redskins at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at Sand Creek, in the semi-finals.
