A new event will artistically light up downtown Blissfield with the first annual Lights, Art, Action! Festival. Downtown Blissfield will be aglow as self-lighted art displays light up Lane Street from 6-8:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22.

Focul Point Productions owner, Raùl Martìnez, and Creating is Bliss owner, Derica Belair, are heading up the festival with support from the Blissfield DDA/Main Street and primary sponsor, Midwest Energy Cooperative. The first annual festival will feature more than 240 pieces of art sharing a movement theme. The six mediums of art work being featured include drawing, painting, canvas work, photography, sculpture and pottery.
