Whiteford High School has cancelled both baseball and softball games scheduled for March 28 against Erie-Mason and March 31 against Morenci due to poor field conditions. As of this time no make-up games have been scheduled.
The Whiteford Bobcats, after defeating Clinton in the Regional semifinal Monday, found themselves against Detroit Consortium for the Regional crown Wednesday, March 12, and falling by a score of 91-61.

As of 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, the Regional final between the Whiteford Bobcat men and Detroit Consortium at Clinton High School is still on, according to Bobcat coach Jim Ross.

The Blissfield Middle School basketball game vs. Ida for today (Wednesday, March 12) has been cancelled due to weather.
The mighty Lady Royals ended a spectacular basketball season where they reigned at number-one in the state for Class C for weeks, won their District and Region, but fell Tuesday night 50-47 to Grosse Pointe University Liggett.
It was a tight game all night for the quarterfinal game at Whitmore Lake. First quarter, the Royals trailed by two at 11-9; at the Blissfield was down by one at 20-19. But at the end of the third quarter, the Royals were on top 34-33.

After a tough first half that found Whiteford leading Clinton by five, the Bobcats blew it wide open in the second half to defeat the Redskins on their own court in the first round of regionals by a score of 82-48.
Whiteford had claimed the District title by defeating Erie-Mason on its home floor by a score of 61-51 Friday night.

The Blissfield Royals continued their undefeated season Thursday night by winning the regional crown with a dominating 57-25 victory over Detroit Consortia.
The Royals are looking to continue their winning ways in the state tournament next week in Whitmore Lake taking on Grosse Pointe Woods in quarterfinal action Tuesday, March 11. If they win there, it’s on to the Breslin Center for semi finals at Michigan State University, East Lansing.
The Whiteford Bobcats clawed their way to the men’s District basketball finals Wednesday night, defeating Summerfield 86-49.
The will play for the District crown against Erie-Mason, who beat the Blissfield Royals 65-32. The final begins at 7 p.m. Friday, March 7, at Erie-Mason High School.
The Blissfield Royals men’s basketball team won its opening District tournament round Monday night, defeating the Britton Deerfield Patriots by a score of 79-58 at Erie-Mason High School.
The Royals advance to play Erie-Mason in the semifinal game at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 5. The Whiteford Bobcats enter tournament play, having drawn a bye in the first round, playing Summerfield at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The winners will play each other Friday night at Erie-Mason for the District crown.

The Lady Royals of Blissfield defeated Manchester on its home basketball court Tuesday night in the regional semifinals after a fourth-quarter rally by a score of 43-31.
Blissfield was up 17-16 at the half, then down 27-25 at the end of the third quarter, but they poured it on in the final stanza for the win.
The regional final is at 7 p.m. Thursday night at Manchester.
