Healthier habits and knowledge about nutrition are being emphasized at Britton Deerfield Schools with a grant from the Building Healthy Communities program being introduced in schools across Michigan.
BD has been selected as one of 28 schools across the state and the only school in Lenawee County to participate in the program that has been organized in a joint effort by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, University of Michigan and Wayne State University.
