William Lloyd
William H. Lloyd, age 83, of Blissfield, passed away November 13, 2011, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born September 13, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan. After serving 6 years in the Navy, he married Phyllis Paisley of Deerfield on April 20, 1957 in Angola, Indiana.
He was a loving, caring father and husband for 54 years. Bill loved to bowl, golf, and hunt. He enjoyed his morning coffee with his friends at McDonalds, and daily trips to Borchardts.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Linda (special friend Kathy), two sons, Mark (Leslie), and Dale (Sandy), 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. His is also survived by his sister, Sheila in California and a brother, Ray in Alabama.
Bill’s grandchildren were a great joy and pride to him.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Wagley Funeral Home, Tagsold Chapel, Blissfield with Rev. Keith Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, November 16th from 3-8 p.m.
