Steven Strickland
Steven Ray Stricklin, age 46, of Blissfield passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born March 18, 1965, in Adrian, to William W. and JoAnn (Emerson) Stricklin. On December 16, 2000, he married Faith Marie Davis in Las Vegas and she survives. Steven worked for Floyds Rigging for many years and was currently employed at Pitt Ohio Express as a truck driver. He was a member of the Solid Rock Church and the Adrian Moose.
In addition to his wife, Faith, he is survived by his mother, JoAnn Stricklin of TN; one step-son, Ronald Bush of Blissfield; a sister, Jeannie Emerson of Ft. Wayne, IN; one grandson, Cayden; and several nieces and nephews, Joel, Raysha (Todd), Rikole, Luann (Tim), Kiley, Stephanie (Wayne), Lindsey, Adam (Athena) and Matt. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and a step-son, Joshua Swift.
Funeral services for Steven will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian with Reverend Bob Loar officiating. Burial will be in Green’s Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.
