Rudolph Winkelman

SYLVANIA, Ohio – Rudolph “Rudy” Winkelman, 82, of Blissfield, passed away Monday, June 21, 2010 at Kingston Care Center of Sylvania.

Rudolph was born August 11, 1927 in Riga, Michigan, the son of William and Hulda (Runge) Winkelman.  He worked for Stubnitze-Greene in Adrian, where he retired after many years of service. 

Rudy loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brother, Maurice.  He was a former member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Blissfield.

He is survived by two brothers, Adolph (Mary) Winkelman and Maurice Winkelman both of Blissfield; three nephews: Adolph (Diane) Winkelman, Steve (Roggie) Winkelman, and Jim Winkelman, all of Blissfield; and two nieces, Marlene (John) Waldvogel of Ottawa Lake and Kathy (Mike) Gower of Adrian.

Rudy was preceded in death by three sisters, Wanda, Ruth and Cristel Winkelman and two brothers, William and Carl Winkelman.
