Nancy Reau
Nancy Reau, age 81, of Blissfield, died November 29, 2011, at Ebeid Hospice. She was born November 12, 1930, in Petersburg, Michigan to Elmore and Vera (Coultis) Zibbell. On June 24, 1950, she married Norman Reau in Deerfield. He preceded her in death on February 21, 2009. Nancy was a member of the Light of Christ Parish in Blissfield and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a former member of Sodality.
Nancy is survived by two sons, Daniel (Nancy) Reau of Swanton and Benjamin Reau of Tecumseh; one daughter, Cynthia Reau of Blissfield; one sister, June Somes of Blissfield; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Norman, she was preceded in death by her parents; eight brothers; two sisters; and a granddaughter, Crystal Reau.
At Nancy’s request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Light of Christ Parish in Blissfield with Father Jack Loughran officiating.
Burial of cremains will be held immediately following the memorial at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Blissfield. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of memorial service at the Light of Christ Parish in Blissfield.
