Myrel Lenwell
RIGA – Myrel Lenwell, 92, of Riga, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Kingston Care Center of Sylvania.
She was born November 18, 1918 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, the youngest daughter of John and Julie (Stamper) Jordan. On February 7, 1948, she married Daniel Lenwell. They celebrated 58 years of marriage prior to his death in 2006.
Myrel enjoyed the outdoors. She liked taking walks and going to garage sales. She was a great fan of Elvis. At the care facility she was known for her singing.
Myrel is survived by her daughter-in-law, Veronice Davis of Riga; grandchildren: Dan Davis and Gloria (Tom) Sell, both of Riga; Luke Davis of Southgate; Joel (Leah) Davis, John Davis and Amanda Davis, all of Riga; and ten great grandchildren: Gregory, Matthew, and Ryan Sell; Danielle, Christian, Michael, Peyton, Alex, Breanna, and Luke Davis.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, George Davis, Jr.; a granddaughter, Peggy Sue Davis; and ten siblings.
