Leslie P. Sayler

         Leslie P. Sayler, 86, of Blissfield passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at his home. Leslie was born on May 14, 1923 in Riga, Michigan, the son of William and Lottie (Palmer) Sayler. On Aug. 16, 1950 Leslie married Rhea Jean Weller. She survives. Leslie devoted his life to farming and was an active participant at the Bethany Assembly of God Church in Adrian.

      Surviving is his wife, Rhea Jean Sayler of Blissfield; three children, Laurie Sayler of Scotts, Larry (Rebecca) Sayler of Blissfield and Lenard (Deborah) Sayler of Blissfield and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Howard and Burton and two sisters, Herma and Beulah.

        Visitation for Leslie will be held on Tuesday from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. at the Tagsold Funeral Home in Blissfield. A private funeral service will take place on Wednesday at the Tagsold Funeral Home in Blissfield with burial following in Pleasant View Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Great Lakes Hospice or to Bethany Assembly of God Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
