Lana Millyard

Lana graduated in 1958 from Blissfield High School. She was a devoted member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Blissfield where she served in many capacities. Lana worked for Deerfield Public School System, where she touched the lives of many before retiring in 2003.

In addition to her husband, Robert Millyard of Deerfield, she is survived by her children, Doug (Lisa) Millyard of Adrian, Cindy Hasbrouck of Toledo, OH, Cathy (Nick) LaVoy of Blissfield and Chris (Eric) Mapstone of Blissfield; her grandchildren, Rachel and Jacob Millyard, Courtney and Haley Whiteman, Alexa Mapstone and Andy (Jackie) Cebulski. Lana was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Laurene Goodrow.

A funeral mass to celebrate the life of Lana Millyard will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church/Light of Christ Catholic Church in Blissfield.  Burial will follow in Deerfield Cemetery in Deerfield.  Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the Wagley Funeral Home, Tagsold Chapel in Blissfield from 2 -8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Lana may be made to Hospice of Lenawee or to Lenawee Medical Care Facility.
