Kathleen Mitchell

Kathleen was born October 24, 1957, in Sandusky, Ohio, the daughter of Hillard Mitchell and the late Judie (Flohr) Mitchell.  She was a 1976 graduate of Blissfield High School and worked for Applewood Orchards in Deerfield.

Kathleen loved her family and will be missed by those surviving including her father, Hillard (Evelyn) Mitchell of Sterling Heights; siblings: Annette (Roger) Shipman of Petersburg; Dottie Mitchell of Sterling Heights; Sharon (Bruce) Salsbury of Blissfield; Todd (April) Mitchell of Toledo; Ryan (Terrie) Mitchell of Blissfield; and Ricky (Tae) Mitchell of Japan; many nieces and nephews including Shonda (Steve) Garcia of Adrian; Ralph Harrwaldt, Nicole Harrwaldt and great nephew, Kamron Smith, who were like her own children.  Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Mitzie Mitchell of Lambertville, and brother-in-law, John Harrwaldt of Blissfield.  

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by step-mother, Mary Mitchell; sister, Tammie Harrwaldt; brother, Hillard Mitchell, Jr. and nephew, Trever Mitchell.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at Wagley Funeral Home, Tagsold Chapel in Blissfield.  Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Whiteford Cemetery.  You may send condolences to the family at www.WagleyFuneralHome.com.
