WHITEFORD-ERIE MASON, Jan. 31

 The Whiteford girls varsity and JV teams claimed two victories each on their home court over visiting rivals Erie-Mason and Summerfield on Monday, Jan. 31 and Friday, Feb. 4, respectively.

     In what varsity coach Jay Haselschwerdt called “a very physical game,” Whiteford outlasted Erie-Mason to win 44-25 on Jan. 31.  

WHITEFORD-SUMMERFIELD, Feb. 4

  A quick start and a strong finish helped Whiteford sweep Summerfield on Friday. The Lady Bobcats gained ground early on in the first quarter, scoring 13 points to Summerfield’s seven, and didn’t let up from there on out. The final score was 43-34, improving Whiteford’s season to record 9-6 .

BRITTON DEERFIELD-WASHTENAW CHRISTIAN Jan. 31

The Britton-Deerfield Lady Patriots had an easy win 67-16 over Washtenaw Christian Academy in a non-conference game Monday, Jan. 31.

BRITTON DEERFIELD-CLINTON Feb. 4

On Friday, Feb. 4, all six members of the Lady Patriots racked up scores in a strong win over the Whitmore Lake Trojans. The final score was 70-26.
