Blissfield 45, Erie Mason 6
The Royals looked sluggish early but rebounded in a big way on home coming night. QB and homecoming king Eric Schmidt rushed for touchdowns of 23, one and 15 yards. He also threw an 11-yard TD strike to Noah Schultz. Dalton VasBinder rushed one in from nine yards out. Garrick May also scored on a 39-yard interception return. Blissfield can clinch a playoff spot with a win at home over Brooklyn Columbia Central (2-5) Friday night.
Summerfield 43, Whiteford 0
Summerfield rolled over their rivals from Whiteford. The Bulldogs remain undefeated this season. Whiteford fell to 4-3 overall and 3-2 in the TCC. Whiteford hosts winless Whitmore Lake next week for homecoming. They finish on the road against Morenci, who lost to Sand Creek tonight. Whiteford will need to win both games to secure a playoff spot. Summerfield was led by Chase Blake (168 yards, 2 TDS). QB Mike Hewitt completed 8 of 20 passes for 150 yards, a TD and one interception. He also rushed for 2 TDs. Cody Donnelly led Whiteford with 44 yards on 17 carries. Corey Roberts ran nine times for 40 yards. Gabe LaRoy completed four of seven passes for 65 yards.
Britton Deerfield 48, Adrian Madison 7
The Patriots improved to 4-3 after seven games. BD’s slim playoff hopes require wins against unbeaten Summerfield and red hot Sand Creek in the season’s final two weeks.

The Wildcats finish the LCAA schedule in second place with their win over Dundee. Onsted is 6-1 and 4-1 in the LCAA. Dundee finished with a 2-3 record in the LCAA and is 3-4 overall.
Hudson 43, Ida 20
Hudson finished its second straight undefeated LCAA season. The Tigers are 7-0, overall. Ida (3-4, 1-4) did manage to score more points against Hudson than any other team this season, but it was probably little consolation as the Blue Streaks lost its fourth straight game.

The red hot Redskins have won four straight and still have a shot at the playoffs. Clinton is 4-3 overall and 4-1 in the TCC. They host Morenci next week. With a win, they’d need to defeat unbeaten Summerfield on the road in the season’s final week to make the playoffs. Whitmore Lake fell to 0-7.
