Earl Osborn Jr.
PALMYRA — Earl “Jake” Sylvester Osborn Jr., age 71, of Palmyra, died on Friday, November 25, 2011, at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He was born on August 26, 1940, in Holgate, Ohio to Earl S. and H. Irene (Gilbert) Osborn. On August 8, 1963, he married Judith “Judy” Stein and she survives. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Earl had been employed by Blissfield Manufacturing as a quality control inspector for 27 ? years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Robin Earl (Judith) Osborn of Chelsea and Kellie S. Osborn of Palmyra; and three grandchildren, Kaitlin, Kristofer and Alison Osborn; and his beloved dog, Kodi. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lon Richard Osborn.
At Earl’s request cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian. Interment of cremains will be held at a later date in Palmyra Cemetery.
