BLISSFIELD COMMUNITY SCHOOLS NOTICE OF POSITION VACANCY
POSTING DATE: June 6, 2011
POSITION TITLE: Middle School Special Education Aide; Position available for the 2011-2012 School year; APPLICATION DEADLINE: June 17, 2011       
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from a standard high school or equivalency diploma is required. Graduation from an associates or bachelors degree program in a field relevant to working with children is preferred. Prior experience working with middle school aged students is preferred. Certification in an area of Special Education is preferred.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serving as a Special Education Aide (working one-on-one with students with other health impair-ments); Professional presentation to the public; Keen awareness of respon-sibilities for confidentiality and professionalism; and Performing all other duties as assigned by classroom teachers, special education department, and/or building Principal.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
$8.00 per hour for 6.75 hours per day (7:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with 30 minute unpaid lunch)
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Administration and/or Board policy on evaluation of personnel.
