Betty Louise Brown

ADRIAN – Betty Louise Brown, age 84, of Adrian, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at Magnum Health and Rehab of Adrian.  She was born July 7, 1926, in  Blissfield, to Edward and Bertha (Kerentoff) Demlow. She was married to Carl B. Brown on Nov. 30, 1946, in Blissfield and he preceded her in death on May 31, 2006. She was employed at the May Co. in California. Betty was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Blissfield, the Ladies Auxiliary at the American Legion and was a Past President of the 40 & 8 La Femmes.

Betty is survived by three sons, Charles (Marcie) Brown of Adrian, Gary (Nancy) Brown of Orange, CA, and Steven (Lori) Brown of San Marcos, CA;  two sisters, Jean (Ralph) Tiede of Blissfield, and Carol (Doug) Dunn of FL; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Carl, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Visitation was Tuesday from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian where a 40 & 8 La Femmes Prayer Service was held at 6:30 p.m.. Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday, Oct. 6) at noon at the Anderson Funeral Home with  Pastor Jack Brown officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Burial of cremains will be in Ridgeway Cemetery.
