Beatrice Luce

Beatrice graduated from Adrian High School in 1934 as the Valedictorian of her class. On June 28, 1937, she was united in marriage to Elwood Luce who preceded her in death in 1973.  Beatrice worked for the Blissfield High School cafeteria, retiring in 1978.

She is survived by two sons, Gene (Barbara) Luce and Jan (Carol) Luce, both of Blissfield; four grandchildren, Derrick (Kim) Luce, Kevin Luce, Hope (Jason) Hecht and Kim (Debra) Luce; four step-grandchildren, Steve (Sandy) Grodi, Doug (Stormy) Grodi, Sandy (Keith) Knierim and Mary Beth Schwamm and many great-grandchildren.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a step-granddaughter, Debbie Grodi, three sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services for Beatrice will be held on Monday, October 31, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Wagley Funeral Home, Tagsold Chapel in Blissfield with the Rev. Keith Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery in Blissfield. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 31, 2011 from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Lenawee or to the Elem3nt Church of Blissfield. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
