Jean Kathryn Good
Jean Kathryn (Rouget) Good, 86, of Blissfield passed away Monday, May 12, 2008 at her home.
Jean was born on Jan. 3, 1922 in Palmyra Twp., the daughter of Frank and Josephine (Hughes) Rouget. She was married on June 19, 1951 to Sylvan Good, who preceded her in death in 1988.
Jean was a graduate of Blissfield High School and attended Siena Heights College in 1939. She worked at Hurd-Lock in Adrian and at Tecumseh Products in Tecumseh. She was a member of the Bliss-Liewert Senior Center in Blissfield, and of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Blissfield.
Jean is survived by several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and an infant sister.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Blissfield. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Blissfield. Visiting hours will be today (Wednesday) from 3-9 p.m. at the Tagsold Funeral Home in Blissfield, and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. A vigil service will be held at 8 p.m. tonight (Wednesday) at the Tagsold Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Assoc., Hospice of Lenawee, or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at the church.
