Blissfield Police has new calling system

Blissfield police have instituted a new phone system for the community.
According to Chief Jane M Kelley, if residents call 486-2210 and no one answers by the sixth ring the call will automatically be transferred to the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office. Callers will hear a recording that will give them further instructions as to how to proceed, which includes dialing 0 for emergencies, or dialing 1 for non-emergency police service, central dispatch, and other options.
As always residents can dial 911 for all emergencies or if they need a police officer. For police business, they can call 486-4340.
