The Blissfield varsity soccer team saw a record-setting season come to a close Monday afternoon, Oct. 14, with a 3-2 loss to Washtenaw Christian in the first round of district competition.

Despite the early departure from districts, the Royals posted a 9-1 victory over Clinton Oct. 7, along with a 2-2 tie with Quincy last Thursday.

The Royals finished the season 11-3-2 to set a new single-season win mark and 7-3 in the ISL for a third-place league finish.
