By Chad Hutchinson

Blissfield Community Schools’ Department of Fine Arts, BHS Drama Club, Thespian Troupe 6353 and Musical Theatre Class are presenting “Guys and Dolls.”

Performances are 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday on the Blissfield High School stage.

“Guys and Dolls” is based on the Broadway story and characters by Damon Runyon, music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows.

Director Wanice Linn said she researched 25 different show possibilities over the summer before placing her bet on this production. “I just really liked the combination of story, dance and music,” she said.
