School supplies gathered for Blissfield students

The 2nd annual Free school supply/clothes drive for all Blissfield families in need will be held Tuesday, Aug. 9 from 6-8 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 304 Franklin Street, Blissfield. New backpacks filled with school supplies generously donated by the Blissfield Lions club, Kiwanis club and Rotary will be available as well.  If you would like to donate school supplies, new or gently used clothes (all sizes), please contact Amy Hayford at (517) 490-7405.  You can also drop off donations at the church on Aug. 9 from 4-6 p.m. before the drive begins.  Supplies that the elementary students need are available online at www.blissfieldschools.us under the elementary school heading.  Middle and high school supplies include #2 pencils, loose leaf paper, 3 ring binders, protractors, colored pencils, 1 gig flash drives, 3 XL stretchy book covers, composition books, 2 pocket folders, erasers and tab dividers.
