Ogden Twp. prepared to draft police power ordinance on wind
Citizens' committee work basis of document
OGDEN — After a year of deliberation and debate, the Ogden Township board is poised to draft a police power ordinance regulating wind energy development in Ogden.
Supervisor Richard Marks says the ordinance will be based on the recommendations of the Ogden citizens committee, a group of four volunteers that has spent the better part of a year researching wind energy and communicating with potential stakeholders in a wind energy project.
