Knights of Columbus bring Christmas to many
More than 130 families helped
On Sunday afternoon, Dec. 18, the Blissfield Knights of Columbus delivered about a week’s worth of groceries to 106 families, as well as toys for 132 children.
K of C member Rudy Mirelez says an overwhelming community effort contributed to the donation drive’s success.
“It went really well,” said Mirelez. “We had plenty of help all day Friday, and Sunday everything went pretty smoothly.”
Leftover food items will be donated to local food pantries.
