The Blissfield Rotary Club is again sponsoring a new, warm winter coat distribution for children in the community, with the help of a United Way Grant and participation in the Operation Warm project.
According to Jean Ann S. Sieler, Operation Warm Project chair, the distribution will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. Friday, Jab. 13, at the First United Methodist Church, 201 W. Adrian St.,Blissfield. Coats will be available on a "first-come, first-served" basis.
Many new coats are available for girls (sizes 6 through 16), and boys (sizes 6 through Men's Medium). Any child in need of coat is welcome. Bringing children to try on and select the coats is recommended, but not required, Sieler said.
