Blissfield Twp. Board reverses decision

In a reversal of a decision made at a special board meeting last week, Blissfield Township Board members voted unanimously at their Jan. 10 meeting to approve the payment of approximately $16,000 in changes to the new ladder truck that will be delivered to the township later this month.

Although it was unclear at the meeting who gave the go-ahead for the changes to be made last November to the truck the board did agree that payment should be made in full.

Several members of the fire department and the public attended the meeting Tuesday evening at the Blissfield Township Hall. Discussion on new truck as well as the hope of improved communication between the board and the fire department were major topics.
