Another River Raisin Festival is part of history. The 28th annual event was deemed a success by committee president Joyce Fetzer.  She has gotten a lot of positive feedback on this year’s event.

“I think it went well,” she said Monday evening, “ I have heard a lot of good things.”
Fetzer said she liked a lot of the new things this year at the festival.
“The fireworks on the water Saturday was a great addition,” Fetzer said. “I really really liked that with the music they played, too.”
She also liked what Jerry Holland and Mike Ennis did with the car show.
Another addition this year she hopes will carry on next year is having a band playing at the beverage tent on Thursday night.
“People liked having the band,” she said.
