BHS competitive cheer team takes 1st

The Blissfield Competitive Cheer team took first place at their meet in Leslie Saturday. There were eight teams with, four in their division. The Royals beat Vandercook Lake, Leslie and Parma Western.

"There were 8 teams total there, 4 in our division," said coach Amber Spotts. "We ended up beating Vandercook Lake, Leslie, and Parma Western. Vandercook Lake beat us a few weeks ago at Manchester but we were able to take first place by 11 points, finishing with a total score of 653.

"We made some major changes for the better recently and hope it will be good enough to get us through Districts this coming Saturday at Addison,” said coach Amber Spotts.
