The Schultz-Holmes Memorial Library re-opened its doors Monday Jan. 9, having closed for nearly three weeks for renovations and plumbing repairs.
The replacement of a sewage pipe and the removal of a blockage did away with the unpleasant smell some library patrons had complained of since November. In addition, new carpet with soft padding underneath was installed throughout the library.
And the surprises don’t end there. Thanks to a $15,000 grant, the library has received three more desktop computers for public use. The computers come with the Windows 7 operating system, anti-virus software and more.
